The staff definitely made the experience memorable. There are certainly those I would like to highlight such as the crew at check in or the lady manager at Cinnamon restaurant but I also can't stress enough how absolutely everyone at the Mandarin Oriental made us feel special and welcome. That goes for the people that greet you at the front door, the bell hops, the restaurant staff, the gym/spa staff, the cleaning crew and the crew on the 21st floor.
The rooms were beautiful, facilities were excellent and so were the restaurants.
It also helped that the hotel is in a good location..
After my stay I stayed in another 5 star hotel in Bangkok and the two can't compare. The Mandarin is on a whole other level and deserves a 6 star rating.

This Place is brand new, everything super clean and shmick. Location couldn't be any better. Our view was over the National Monument and the Roof top pool gives an unbeatable view of the entire inner jakarta. Also close to the best street food area in town.
