From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Made with a genuine smile and a heartfelt welcome that instantly made us feel at home. Room is quite spacious! We were surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature. The attention to detail in every aspect of the house was truly remarkable. The rooms were cleaned and made every day and the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious breakfast served. It’s prepared with love and care, and the freshly cooked meals feature a delightful array of local delicacies and seasonal fruits, providing a delicious start to the day. The staff at Gek House were always ready to assist and their message replies were prompt, they took great care of the facilities, maintaining the beautiful garden and furnitures with their hands. It's rare to find a place that combines such genuine hospitality with impeccable service. Not easily accessible by car but just a 3 min walk out to two rows of eateries and shops. Highly recommend travellers to experience the warmth and tranquility of this hidden gem.

I stayed here for 3 nights and will be back here next time I come to Ubud for sure! There’s a bit less reviews to go on because the place only opened 1 month ago. My room was very nice and very clean. The bathroom was really nice as well. The family that runs the place is exceptionally kind and really help out if you have a request (I asked for an extra towel, use of a hairdryer,..). The laundry service they work with was good and very reasonably priced. The small pool looked really clean and inviting as well but I didn’t have the time to use it. I’ll try that out next time. :) Bonus: it’s walking distance to the center of Ubud if you don’t want to rent a motorcycle.

This place is absolutely amazing. The room was very clean, with a great view over the djungle trees. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and the owner was very helpful. The place is even nicer than on the pictures and it is unbelievable to get all of this for such a cheap price.
