Amazing location - away from the busy Ubud Centre but having the free shuttle meant it was still easy to access the centre for bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely views from our room of rice fields. Room was very luxurious and spacious. Pool was ideal and having the bar meant it was easy to grab a quick drink. Lots of different options available at breakfast.

This place is just fantastic. Best value ever. Sure, the price is very reasonable, but it is really the service and the people working there that set the place apart. We stayed in room 20, first floor and a great view over the organic garden and surrounding jungle. The hotel itself stretches out in a long row of buildings. There are two pools on the premises, one of them on the roof of the main building. Or you can use the large bathtub in the room. There are two receptions, and any number of extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was of the "wooden" type. Fairly big and very well appointed, and with an absolutely lovely balcony. Comfortable bed, with mosquito net. Very quiet at night - but with a slight risk of encountering a monkey on your front step if you are a very early riser. We usually had our breakfast brought to us in the room, pure bliss. A 10 minutes' walk to Lumeria Yoga via the back entrance, for another kind of bliss. The front entrance faces the Monkey Forest Road, so there is an easy walk to the centre if shopping is your thing.

Sanubari is even more beautiful in person than the photos. The location is great, in a walking distance from local restaurants and shops. The staff was amazing, willing to help and make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was served in our room and the quality was very good!
