We had a wonderful stay at this incredible property. The place is absolutely beautiful and located in a truly unique, non-touristy area of Ubud right in the heart of the rice fields and surrounded by untouched nature. The infinity pool overlooking the landscape is stunning, and the breakfast was simply epic delicious and served with care. A special thank you to Made Widi Putu and the rest of the staff, who were all incredibly kind and helpful at all times. Our family of four (kids aged 6 and 9) had the pleasure to stay at Jero Sebali Villa. From the moment we arrived—very late in the evening—we were greeted at the gate by Mr. Partha and his entire family, a warm and heartfelt welcome that immediately set the tone for our stay. Tucked away just outside Ubud, this villa is a true hidden gem. Jero Sebali offers a complimentary shuttle service at select times, so exploring Ubud was effortless. The villas themselves are authentic Balinese style, blending simplicity with elegance. The tropical garden and pool was even more breathtaking in real life than in the photos—a green oasis that made our stay feel like a dream. If you’re visiting Ubud, I wouldn’t think twice—stay at Jero Sebali. The hospitality, beauty, and tranquility of this place are truly amazing. Ps our youngest son forgot his teddy bear when we left, but Partha did everything he could to make sure that the teddy bear was reunited with its owner.

We recently stayed at Puri Sebali Resort in Ubud and were absolutely enchanted by the experience. Tucked away from the crowds and chaos, this place is a true sanctuary—perfect for those seeking tranquility, nature, and authentic Balinese beauty. What stood out immediately was the incredible location. The resort is nestled right by the famous Campuhan Ridge Walk, yet completely removed from the noise of traffic and motorbikes. All you hear is the breeze and birdsong. But the true highlight? The jaw-dropping rice terrace views. These aren’t your average rice paddies—they rise in dramatic, cascading layers that seem to stretch forever. You can admire them from the lobby, the pool, the restaurant, and most memorably—from the rooms themselves. We stayed in two terrace-view rooms, and honestly, we couldn’t take our eyes off the landscape. Morning coffee on the balcony felt like a scene from a movie. The rooms were a perfect balance of comfort and style. We loved the beautiful wooden furniture, handcrafted and full of character, along with the thoughtful design details throughout. Everything you could need was there—comfy bed, ample storage, and both a bathtub and a shower. The bathroom deserves a special mention: it had a huge panoramic window overlooking the rice fields, turning every bath into a spa-like experience. The staff at Puri Sebali truly made our stay special. Whether it was the front desk, the café team, or room service, everyone was kind, respectful, and eager to help. You feel genuinely cared for here—nothing is too much trouble, and every interaction is warm and personal. Delicious Breakfasts & a Surprisingly Bug-Free Stay The breakfasts were another pleasant surprise—fresh, flavorful, and served with a view. We especially appreciated the variety and quality. And despite being so close to nature, we were amazed by how few insects there were! The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which made the stay even more relaxing.

We stayed at Amora Ubud in Bali for a week, and it was truly unforgettable. They made the first week of our honeymoon a dream come true, introducing us to the beauty of Balinese hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Always kind and attentive, they helped us with every little detail, and we truly felt pampered throughout our stay. The views from our room were breathtaking – overlooking the lush, wild nature of Bali, a constant reminder of the paradise we were in. The private pool was the perfect retreat, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty and serenity of the surrounding jungle. The staff’s attention to cleanliness was remarkable; they ensured our room was spotless, coming by two or even three times a day to tidy up and make everything perfect. Breakfasts were a highlight – rich, diverse, and delicious, providing the perfect start to a day full of exploring Bali. Evenings were just as magical. Dining at both of the resort’s restaurants was a delight, with every meal crafted to perfection. Little surprises from the staff, like a complimentary cocktail or dessert, added an extra touch of warmth and made the experience even more memorable. Although we had some minor issues with the internet in our room for 2-3 days, the staff worked tirelessly to fix it. Their hospitality shone through again when they offered us, as an apology, a complimentary hour of massage for both me and my wife. We hadn’t planned to try their spa, thinking we’d experience massages at the other resorts we’d visit, but it would’ve been such a shame if we hadn’t accepted this gift. The massage was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced – the soothing scent of lemongrass, the gentle breeze, and the calming sound of rain created a truly unique and relaxing atmosphere. If you come here, don’t leave without trying the Aroma Therapy Massage. A big thank you to the entire staff and a special mention to Nita & Meli.

This is truly a wonderful hotel, everything is beautifully maintained and in pristine condition. The attention to detail is unmatched. I loved every aspect of this place so much that it will be difficult to find anything else in the world that reaches this level. We are a well-traveled couple and were completely blown away by this oasis in the middle of the jungle. The views, the rice fields at the entrance, the infinity pool, the delicious breakfast and most importantly the staff made our stay unforgettable. We will 100% come back to Chapung. Every request we had was handled promptly and with a genuine smile, it’s the first hotel we’ve stayed at that never said “no” to anything we asked. Chapung feels like a warm hug, so comforting that it’s hard to let go! I miss it already! Thank you Chapung team for being one of a kind!

The property lies in between stunning rice paddies. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was big and comfy. The terrace in front of the view looked into the jungle. The pool is well maintained and clean and has sun beds with shade. The breakfast is prepared individually and was perfectly adequate. The staff, particularly Mr Putu, was incredibly kind and helpful with anything extra we needed (Scooter rental, laundry, airport transport at reasonable prices).
