I recently stayed at Bladok Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the train station and very close to Malioboro, which makes it perfect for exploring the city on foot.
The hotel has a charming, traditional atmosphere that feels both authentic and welcoming. The rooms are simple but comfortable, offering everything you need for a relaxed stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, my family enjoyed our stay, location was great as is just a short walk to Malioboro street. Breakfast was great too as there is a great spread of local and international dishes. Room wise was big and clean and the water pressure was great. Overall, my family would stay again when we visit Yogyakarta.

Everything! From the moment Ibnu prepared us for arrival and welcomed us to enjoying all aspects of the villa: big enough for privacy but small enough for cosy moments.
In walking distance to the station (if you’re willing to dodge traffic for ten minutes while pulling luggage) and Jalan Malioboro (if you must).
The neighbourhood is dotted with interesting eateries and even a bar .
Ibnu stayed most helpful via WhatsApp giving us local tips and arranging a driver for us to go to Borobudur.
The pool is the most wonderful perk to come back to after a hot day’s outings!!!
And all that for just you!
Oh- I forgot to mention the treats in the fridge. Terimakasih!
