We loved the warm welcome, the easy acces to the castle through their lovely garden. They had a charming athmosphere in the bar as well as during breakfast. All in all great experience with very warm staff.

Highest rating for location - we could see Kilkenny Castle from our window. In the perfect center of this charming city. Close to all the attractions and pubs with live music. I payed so little for it that I thought it would be a bit nasty, but I was positively surprised, it surpassed most of the other accommodations during my trip. Including some more expensive hotels. The room was really cozy. I liked the solid classical furniture and traditional hotel atmosphere which in my book beats the hotels with modern furniture that often ends up looking like hostels. The location was also great! Next to the Railway Station which is both great for train travelers and people who travel by car and can use the stations parking lot which was right next to the hotel. If I come to Kilkenny again I will pick this hotel again!
