This is a great guest house. Located in a relatively quiet back alley between the river and the main street. The location is great a 1min walk from the ghats and also close to the market areas. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful - can help with a walking tour if booked in advance. It felt very safe. The room was tidy with a quiet fan and AC that worked well. The widi was good. It has a modest roof top area you can use with a view of the river. The best place I've stayed in india so far.

Amazing location right at the river bank, 3 minutes walk to the main ghat where the sunrise and sunset ceremonies take place. beautiful balcony with a river Ganges view. Very nice staff, very accommodating, they even let me use their rooftop for yoga practice for the whole week.

Right on the Ganges 5 minutes from the main Ghats. Staff were fantastic! Made us feel very welcome. There is no transport all the way. You have to get a taxi to the main road and walk about 15 mins through the alleyways. Easy to find on Google maps though. Sanjay was absolutely marvellous, acting as our guide for our stay. Making sure we had everything we needed. He got us a prime seat for the Arti and explained everything in detail, took us to the burning ghat, sorting food and taxis and a sunrise private boat for £20. Even loaned us a plug and charger. Can’t recommend enough for service, location and hospitality.
