The Haveli is an oasis of greenery and peace. The architecture is amazing, with lovely paintings, furniture and decoration details. The hosts were very kind and warm and helped us with valuable information. You definitely must try the food there- authentic indian (home made) cuisine.

Pearl Palace was the best hotel we stayed in in India. The rooms and building were beautifully decorated, and each room has a unique theme (ours was Jaisalmer). It felt like being in a Maharaja’s palace! The staff and service were exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic and delicious. And we loved the hotel’s restaurant, Peacock, which serves creative indian and european cuisine, in a beautiful setting.

This place is so special! We initially chose this homestay because it looked so charming in photos, but the best part turned out to be the warmth of the family running this place. From the moment we checked in, they made us feel at home and we ended up extending our stay from 1 night to 4 nights. They have big hearts and are lots of fun - the kind of people who genuinely seem to thrive on looking after others. The breakfasts and dinners are completely delicious and prepared with great love and intention. They also offer amazing masala chai! The property is very beautiful with clean rooms and cosy common areas to chill in. Our room was on the highest floor and we had an great view of the fort and the mountains. The haveli's location is walking distance from Chandpole bazaar and the city palace and it’s easy to catch tuktuks to move about. We also signed up for their cooking classes. Instead of a standard touristy cooking class, we were treated to an indepth lesson on Indian cooking and spices from a great teacher who was very passionate about cooking. I was travelling with my mother, herself a fantastic cook, and she enjoyed this thoroughly and told me she learnt a great deal. They held the cooking class that day on their rooftop terrace (since there was a group of us) and it was pretty magical watching his delicious paneer curry bubble with the sun setting in the background. Overall, this place is a gem and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for real hospitality, look no further. We left with our hearts and bellies full.

I loved this hostel! The location is great. The staff is super friendly and each evening the hostel organised an activity so it is super easy to meet people. The breakfast is also delicious!
