This houseboat is located on the smaller and quieter Nigeen Lake. There are 2 bedrooms and we were lucky that we had the whole boat to ourselves for 5 days. We ate most of our meals on the boat and they were really tasty. Yusuf is a wonderful host and he was always ready to help or answer questions about the area. He makes the best Kahwa in Kashmir!

Beautiful location, peaceful and traditional experience. Away from the Main Street which added an additional peace. Floating markets a must see. Highly recommend this stay when visiting Kashmir. Lovely heated rooms, hot shower and ample bedding for the Winter weather.

The amazing sunset.. this boat has one of the best locations in Srinigar. It is parallel to the lake, not perpendicular like some, so you can watch the lake from all the rooms. The staff couldn’t be better.. everything we needed we catered for, including floating market tours, hiking trips into the mountains, meals we requested, laundry.. the lot!

Sitting 1730 metres above sea level, the luxurious Taj Dal View enjoys majestic views of the mountains and Dal Lake.
