It was simple and very clean, important criteria for me, as this was a trip connecting with the spirit of Saint Francis. And the owners are wonderful — friendly and responsive. Location is amazing — walkable to and from Assisi centro (or by a 10-min bus ride) and the train station is a 5-minute walk away so that it’s so easy to visit other hilltowns too. Several good options for food around as well.

Owners greeted us and made our visit extremely pleasant. Breakfast was the best and most varied we have had in 6 weeks of travel. Parklike setting. We all thoroughly enjoyed this hotel.

The staff, and friends were terrific. I only wish I had been able to stay longer. The location was my dream. being right across from the train station. No fuss, just walked across. I will stay here and visit Assisi again.

Very nice apartment just next to Assisi train station. The lady Gioconda welcomed us and gave us instructions. We had two bedrooms, one toilet, living and dining room, all comfy and very clean.
