Thank you to Rosalba for a great stay. We were sad to have only stayed 1 night here. The place is centrally located in the old town, about 20min walk from bari centrale train station. Very well equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle. The bathroom was very clean and toiletries were provided. The place was super comfortable and clean. We were lucky to be able to check in a little earlier so we could explore as much as possible. There were so many lovely personal touches from Rosalba including a carafe of local wine and a cute welcome message. We definitely recommend staying here!

You can visit everything on foot, the seafront, the city center and the train station is 10 min walk from where you can take the train or buses to visit other areas of Puglia. The staff was very helpful. They allowed us to check in early as we needed to leave our luggage and walk around. And at the end they allowed us to put our luggage there again until we left. There is just one word to describe La Pelliccia - charming! The apartment is charming, the street is charming and the location is charming. It's also just across the street from the Port of Bari. That turned out to be very convenient for me as I was sailing on the MSC Fantasia, and it literally took me 15 minutes to stroll from LP to my ship on embarkation day. Giovanna keeps the apartment spotless (and I am fussy). The location suited me perfectly - it was fun to wander around the maze of streets surrounding LP. Bari Vecchia (the old town) is beautiful. And LP is also only 15-20 walk from the main town of Bari. One thing to keep in mind is that you are staying in a residential area, and locals are living their lives - so it can be rather noisy at times. My suggestion is to take heavy duty | industrial strength ear plugs to sleep (the noise dies down around 10pm at night). It's a small price to pay for such charming accommodation.
