There is just one word to describe La Pelliccia - charming!
The apartment is charming, the street is charming and the location is charming.
It's also just across the street from the Port of Bari.
That turned out to be very convenient for me as I was sailing on the MSC Fantasia, and it literally took me 15 minutes to stroll from LP to my ship on embarkation day.
Giovanna keeps the apartment spotless (and I am fussy).
The location suited me perfectly - it was fun to wander around the maze of streets surrounding LP.
Bari Vecchia (the old town) is beautiful.
And LP is also only 15-20 walk from the main town of Bari.
One thing to keep in mind is that you are staying in a residential area, and locals are living their lives - so it can be rather noisy at times. My suggestion is to take heavy duty | industrial strength ear plugs to sleep (the noise dies down around 10pm at night).
It's a small price to pay for such charming accommodation.

We loved our stay in Bari! The room was spotlessly clean and had a great view looking over a typical Bari street. Our host was very helpful and even arranged for her brother to drive us to the airport for our early morning flight home - what a thoughtful touch! The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the main sights. A great base to explore Bari - highly recommended!
