the b&b was located next to the old beautiful town. the rooms were clean and well equipped, breakfast was delicious (even gluten free versions of cakes were available!) and the staff was super friendly and helpful with our car renting!

There is just one word to describe La Pelliccia - charming! The apartment is charming, the street is charming and the location is charming. It's also just across the street from the Port of Bari. That turned out to be very convenient for me as I was sailing on the MSC Fantasia, and it literally took me 15 minutes to stroll from LP to my ship on embarkation day. Giovanna keeps the apartment spotless (and I am fussy). The location suited me perfectly - it was fun to wander around the maze of streets surrounding LP. Bari Vecchia (the old town) is beautiful. And LP is also only 15-20 walk from the main town of Bari. One thing to keep in mind is that you are staying in a residential area, and locals are living their lives - so it can be rather noisy at times. My suggestion is to take heavy duty | industrial strength ear plugs to sleep (the noise dies down around 10pm at night). It's a small price to pay for such charming accommodation. excellent location in the old town, easy to find, close to all the main attractions and to the promenade. Spacious room with good furniture, kitchen with everything you need, modern bathroom. Nice balcony where you can drink coffee while enjoying the view of the old town. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need for a traveler. Very clean.
