City view room has windows to the old city's narrow streets. Lots of cafes and restaurants and bars in walking distance, soundproof windows, ambient atmosphere inside the room, amazing bathroom with rainforest shower and low light.

Palazzo Salvecchio is fantastic accommodation. It's right in the heart of the old town, yet on a super quiet laneway so close to everything, but peaceful in the apartment. Hosts checked in on us a couple of times during the stay just to make sure all was OK. They couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Apartment itself is spacious and really comfortable. Loved our time staying there as a base to explore Bergamo.

Our stay here was definitely a plus. This place is a must if you love rich Italian interiors with a touch of modernity. Very comfortable bed, beautiful stone bathroom, great view from the window to the small square and lovely hosts. All this in the center of Citta Alta, yet the nights were peaceful here. We picked up the keys from the agent who were 3 mins away from the apartment. They were so helpful and gave us a tour of the apartment and what keys to use. We felt so welcomed and a great start to our stay. They even looked after our cases on the last day until our flight home. The apartment is so central and close to funicular and main square. Warm, really clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the funicular cafe was delicious and great views of the area. Getting around by bus and train was cheap and easy and day trip to Milan was an added bonus.
