Staying at the Aragonese Castle was an unforgettable experience – one that words can hardly capture. I have loved this place ever since I first stepped inside, and on my sixth visit I finally had the chance to stay overnight. Experiencing the castle after dark was truly magical. From our balcony, we enjoyed breathtaking views over Ischia Porto, and our room was both beautiful and wonderfully comfortable.
Another highlight was access to the private gardens, normally closed to the public but open to overnight guests. They are absolutely enchanting, and wandering through them felt like discovering a hidden treasure. Breakfast was also outstanding – fresh, high-quality ingredients and flavors that left us speechless.
This place has completely captured our hearts. In fact, during our stay here we even got engaged, making it all the more special. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the unforgettable memories – we cannot wait to return.

Everything. The staff here are impeccable nothing is too much trouble they go out if their way to make sure you are having the best time, the hotel has lush gardens all around making you feel as though you are miles away.

The stay was great, place, view and hospitality of the staff, especially owner, were amazing, we did feel the true island vibe. Breakfast was great and overall experience couldn’t be better! Definitely will come back!

This place is a slice of paradise. It was so beautiful. Our room was so spacious and clean. Our views were out of this world. The restaurant was delicious and all the staff were so attentive even when very busy. This is a 3star but i definatley would give it 4stars . We will be back.

I’m going to Ischia very often and this have been the best time ever, the hospitality there was over our expectations, the staff was really nice and professional the two girl behind the desk where always helping even before we arrived, food was really good we loved the breakfast, aperitif and lunch on the sea terrace.
The location is amazing, by the side of Ischia port and in the main centre of the island, We really appreciate the private beach because which was very roomy and quiet and we didn’t waist time looking where to go and we could enjoy some drinks and tapas on sunbed,
Everything was really clean and organised, cleaning room twice per day, always clean towel.
Price wise under our expectations food and drinks very cheap even compared with the island
Has been a pleasure be guest is this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.
To be 3 star is better then 4star where I went is the past.
Planning to go back next month

We had a wonderful experience at Mavilan Resort. The apartment was very nice and cosy, decorated in a modern style with a spacious layout. The large balcony was a great bonus for relaxing, and the bathroom was roomy and fully equipped with everything you need.
The hosts were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated that cleaning was done daily and towels were changed regularly, which is not always common in rental places.
The location is also ideal — it's close to the bus station and the city centre, making it very convenient for getting around.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a great location!
