To be honest? I think I´ve never been in a more beautiful appartment & place in the world than the LA FARFALLA BLU in Rome. True. When I was searching for a place to stay for me and my daughter in september 2025 (I went to Rome for business reasons, to participate at the European Convention of my wonderful perfume project with CHOGAN, an italian perfume company, I have cooperation with and am a successful leader too) i searched on booking.com and tried to find something nearby the PALAZZO DELLO SPORT. And I immediately fell in love with the pictures on booking.com (and honestly I think I´ve never saw a place with a rating of 10.0 before!) so I was curious. I am an international Jazzmusician who´s been travelling the world since over 30 years, and I always try to stay at wonderful places, cause being on the road is kind of feeling at home, so I love to feel at home everywhere I go. (Besides the fact, that I love to cook- and I love to have a kitchen around me ;-)) anyways- but then the day came when we really went to Rome and arrived at this magic oasis- it´s hard to put into words. Why? Cause this place is not just an appartment- this is a place of pure light, love & energy. Besides the fact, that the geographical spot of the LA FARFALLA BLU is really great (very near by the metro station LAURENTINA) and that the terrace and the roof top terrace and the view from there are just MINDBLOWING, it´s also the whole interior, the whole atmosphere, how this appartment is treated- from its owner, the wonderful FREDERICA. Frederica is not only an amazing woman & wonderful human being, she is also the PERFECT HOST. It seems like she put all of her love and energy into making this place a real true special place also for others to feel at home there- and to share her personal oasis with the world (which is not often). All in all: It´s the PERFECT PLACE TO BE.

Room was impeccably clean at our arrival and every day after cleaning. Staff was always helpful and accomodating, we didn't try breakfast, but dinner was good and reasonably priced, as was coffee which we got frequently :) Location was also good, close by bus to metro station and in calm part of city, about 1 hour travel by public transport to historic city center. Small shops and excellent local bakery within walking distance from hotel.

The apartment was warm and clean. Convenient keyless entry.

It was located near lovely outdoor dining restaurants and cafes, but the hotel was in a quiet street. Also walking distance to main tourist attractions and main shopping area. Fantastic selection of food for daily breakfast.

It feels more like a 5-star hotel rather than a 4-star. Very stylish and with a character interior design, good quality materials, great service level, lovely food outlets. In addition, I really like the are around the hotel - it's close to main attractions and just next doors to the most "delicious" area of Rome.

We had a beautiful suite, and the hotel was perfectly located. For the fact it is so close to the Trevi Fountain, the suite was still very quiet and was a fabulous space to retreat to and relax after busy days out and about sightseeing. We loved the rooftop terrace also..a real hidden gem! The bottle of Prosecco left in our room on arrival was a lovely and very welcome surprise, and the breakfast each day was fabulous. The staff were also all very happy to assist wherever possible.
