To be honest? I think I´ve never been in a more beautiful appartment & place in the world than the LA FARFALLA BLU in Rome. True. When I was searching for a place to stay for me and my daughter in september 2025 (I went to Rome for business reasons, to participate at the European Convention of my wonderful perfume project with CHOGAN, an italian perfume company, I have cooperation with and am a successful leader too) i searched on booking.com and tried to find something nearby the PALAZZO DELLO SPORT. And I immediately fell in love with the pictures on booking.com (and honestly I think I´ve never saw a place with a rating of 10.0 before!) so I was curious. I am an international Jazzmusician who´s been travelling the world since over 30 years, and I always try to stay at wonderful places, cause being on the road is kind of feeling at home, so I love to feel at home everywhere I go. (Besides the fact, that I love to cook- and I love to have a kitchen around me ;-)) anyways- but then the day came when we really went to Rome and arrived at this magic oasis- it´s hard to put into words. Why? Cause this place is not just an appartment- this is a place of pure light, love & energy. Besides the fact, that the geographical spot of the LA FARFALLA BLU is really great (very near by the metro station LAURENTINA) and that the terrace and the roof top terrace and the view from there are just MINDBLOWING, it´s also the whole interior, the whole atmosphere, how this appartment is treated- from its owner, the wonderful FREDERICA. Frederica is not only an amazing woman & wonderful human being, she is also the PERFECT HOST. It seems like she put all of her love and energy into making this place a real true special place also for others to feel at home there- and to share her personal oasis with the world (which is not often). All in all: It´s the PERFECT PLACE TO BE.

From the arrival, which was complemented by a glass a Prosecco each, all the way through to the very end of our stay, the entire team at Hotel Viminale in Roma delivered the most remarkable, thoughtful and personalised service that my wife & I have seen in a very long time in Europe. Being a French & Italian couple, living in India and working in luxury hospitality in Maldives, our stay was truly top notch. Every single team member we met was always smiling, helpful, and an absolute delight to interact with. From Leila & Alessandro at reception (as well as all their colleague which I apologise I don’t remember the names) as well as Danielle at the bar, everyone was fantastic. Room amenities are great, breakfast is superb, the building itself is very well renovated/maintained, there’s a gym, and it’s as central as you could ask for in Roma. We need to return to Roma in early January and still have not booked our hotel stay - we will look no further than Hotel Viminale, and this will also be our 1st choice for all our visits to Roma, thanks to the remarkable service we’ve felt. Grazie Mille! P.S. I left a very valuable necklace in the bathroom before checking out, and when I returned to collect the luggage from reception later on, this was returned to me before I had even realised I had lost it… cherry on top!

Excellent breakfast. The location is perfect, major attraction are available by foot, metro is 5 minutes away. Good restaurants are in 15-20 min area by foot.

The staff and the location were outstanding

The staff are all super nice and helpful, the reception lady helped us check in early so that we can relax a while after 12h flight, that really makes our day. Breakfast is also perfect with great service. Room is larger than what i expected, everything is comfortable and we enjoyed every minute there. Also, the elevator. Some comments says it’s too old and less convenient, but I find it charming and fascinating to experience, like a movie scene:)
