My time at Aretusa Vacanze was truly exceptional. Without a doubt, it stands out as the best accommodation experience I've had in over 13 years. The hotel, housed in a beautifully maintained Baroque building, offers spacious and impeccably clean rooms with a charming Sicilian historical touch. Its ideal location in the heart of Ortigia, close to the sea, main attractions, Piazza Duomo, and the outstanding rooftop breakfast contribute to a memorable stay. Best location and such an amazing flat! I wish we had stayed longer because everything was perfect, super comfortable bed, great shower, and a very spacious apartment. Parking was easy, just 15€ for 24 hours right near the flat. The area is full of great restaurants, and Ortigia itself is such a stunning old town. This apartment is truly the perfect place to stay if you want to experience Ortigia.

The hotel is amazing. It is located right on the water with many levels of public terraces, so there were many options for having breakfast or a drink and enjoying the views. There are many spaces to explore within the hotel each decorated with interesting antiques. It is a great base for exploring Ortigia and the staff was so available and friendly with many great suggestions for nearby restaurants and more. Our room was on the top floor facing the street and was a nice size with a tall bed, plenty of room for our stuff and a decent bathroom with shower. We made it a point to return for afternoon drinks as the hotel is really a charming place to dwell.

I can't imagine a better location and place to stay! The apartments/rooms are nestled within carefully renovated buildings in the old city. Everything is restored with great attention to detail and is just beautiful. We had four rooms in total, as we were a bigger group, and all of the rooms were great. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and we could check in early as some of the rooms were ready. The rooms were quiet, AC worked, equippement in the kitchen great and the toiletteries were nice. Communication ahead of our stay was perfect, explaining where to park and registering our number plates, so we could enter the old city with our rented cars Of course, parking is a few minutes walk away; this is part of living in the absolute heart of Siracusa. But shopping, eating, drinking, culture- right in front of your doorstep. The property made some suggestions on where to eat, and all the recommendations were great. Overall, we regretted that we only stayed two nights, already when checking in we were sad that we had to leave....

Everything was provided that we might need. Our hostess was amazing...we have met a new friend. Her son was also very helpful. We had help when we needed it, suggestions were provided and we generally had a wonderful time and stay in Ortegia.
