Beautiful structure a few steps from everything and well connected by public transport. Very clean room, very comfortable Futons. I relaxed a lot, it was a beautiful experience that I absolutely recommend doing in this Ryokan. The staff welcomed us in a wonderful way, very kind and helpful. I appreciated everything. I stayed with my son for 12 days. The spacious rooms are perfect for families. I loved the neighborhood, you can explore Arashiyama after the buzz and the mass tourism from the afternoon made their way back to the city. Take a stroll alongside the Hozugawa river, enjoying nature. It is close to nice places like the Matsuo Shrine or the Arashiyama Monkey Park. I can also recommend to take a boat tour on the Hozugawa river, you will end your trip close to the hotel.

Exquisite facilities. One of the most beautiful places I've stayed, like the Japanese maple outside the window, or the Japanese design. The HEATED SHOWER FLOORS. Beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Washer dryer works well. Great little sitting area for a big family.

Great location, 10min walking to the bamboo forest and temple. Get there early, this makes a big difference in crowd sizes in these very touristic places. Go further north for quieter and just as beautiful temples / areas. Helpful host and super useful parking space in kyoto. Plenty of space in the house for a family.

This house is a very modern detached house. It is very clean and tidy, and all the furniture and appliances are very practical. The landlord is very warm and polite. There is a convenience store nearby, and it is not far from the JR station. The surrounding area is where mostly elderly people and children live, so it is very quiet.
