The hotel room was super comfortable, and clean. And the hotel itself had a super cozy vibe, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! They spoke English very well, that was helpful too. There is a 5 minute walk to a station, that connects to pretty much everywhere you need to go. And several convienience stores nearby as well. Overall a fantastic experience!

This was probably my favourite out of all the places we stayed on our trip. The design was super cute and there was a lot of space to spread out. It was also in a great location with restaurants and the station nearby. The amenities were good and the wifi was fast.

It was a lovely experience to live in a 200 years old traditional machiya. I was skeptical at first, but the house was neatly renovated, making it very comfortable to live in.
The location was perfect (3 minutes from the station). The owner of the house, who lives next door was very friendly. He introduced us to many local specialties, especially the local Sake (桃の???) was absolutely delicous.

Our stay at Inari House was excellent. The apartment is really spacious. 2 toilets, separate bathroom, comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen were more than we expected. The apartment has three floors and the stairs are narrow and quite steep. However, our 83 year old grandmother was able to walk up and down them. The host sent us information well in advance and answered our questions quickly. He even helped us to communicate with a local courier service. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

This airbnb is located incredibly close to Fushimi Inari station, it was just 1 minute walk away! Perfect location to get around Kyoto as well. The house was beautifully decorated, as I personally love the wooden aesthetic. There's a nice tea ceremony room where 5-6 people can gather and hang out, which I really liked. The entire place was clean, including the bathrooms and toilets. Very lovely home which I would definitely book again if I go to Kyoto.

The self checkin style of this hotel is seamless. Simple instructions to follow. Even the washing machine instructions has its own manual in english. We can get ourselves checkin quickly because we don’t have to deal with anyone but ourselves. The room is spacious. They separate the toilet and shower room. The toilet seat is heated. The toilet slippers are the high quality type, it’s not like the ordinary hotel room slippers.

1. Location: The house is perfectly located, just a short walk from two train stations and several convenience stores, making it easy to get around and grab necessities.
2. Check-in: The check-in process was smooth and very convenient, which made arrival stress-free.
3. Space & Comfort: The house is spacious and great for families or groups. Rooms warm up well with the air-conditioning. The common hall floors can feel cold, but thankfully, indoor slippers are provided, which was a nice touch.
4. Facilities: The kitchen is decently equipped with enough utensils for basic cooking. The instruction guide was clear and helpful, especially for appliances and house rules.
5. Privacy & Amenities: The bathroom windows are blurred, but silhouettes are still visible—adding curtains would improve privacy. It would also be helpful to have more mirrors around the house.
6. Noise: Be mindful that the stairs can be noisy, especially at night, so try to move quietly to avoid disturbing others.
Overall, this was a great stay with thoughtful amenities and a convenient location. Just a few small tweaks could make it even better!
