The staff were super attentive, friendly and made our stay really special. The rooms were spacious enough, cozy and the amenities were great!
They left birthday cards on our bed (both our birthdays were in close dates to our stay there) signed by the staff with personal messages by each one of them! That was a really special gesture that summarizes our experience. Highly recommended!

It was great location near the main shrine in Kyoto. I could walk around easily. It was like a capsule hotel which you can enjoy your private hotel in the same room. Very clean and modern.

The rooms are so big for Japan. The bed is super comfortable and the shower is amazing. I stayed in a number of rooms as we kept extending our stay, my favourite room was the one facing the street as it was quietest. The ones facing the river seem to have some low level noise from the Subway but it's not very bad my any means. I slept perfectly in all of the rooms.

Incredibly charming place. The Japanese retro interior design in the common living room is amazingly put together (and designed by the host himself!). It has a warm and welcoming feeling. The backyard with koie fish is also beautiful. The host is super nice and speaks English fluently. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Kyoto!
