Very nice and cozy hotel to stay in Kyoto. Very conveniently located to get to all the important places. Onsen is beyond praise - a super feature after long walks around the city. The restaurant is very tasty, and the staff does their job perfectly.

We booked a night at this property to experience the traditional ryokan hospitality, and we were not disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room had all the modern comforts even if the style is traditional. We didn't use the public bath, but we had the kaiseki dinner and we really enjoyed it.

Loved the personal touch of the owners. They really go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. They are great with recommendations as well.
Also the location was bang on. It was in the middle of One of the main places in Kyoto. Very close to a bus stop as well.

The hotel location, facilities & service were exceptional. Our room was super spacious and very well designed. The bed was super comfy and the 8th floor bar had amazing cocktails, prepared by extremely friendly staff. There was also a restaurant on the ground level and it exceeded our expectations. This is by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at!
