Absolutely love this traditional guesthouse and the warm hospitality of the staff. Room was clean and comfortable, and a simple but hearty breakfast was provided daily. A map of the amenities in the vicinity was provided and detailed thoughtfully. The hall opens to a quaint garden and one could spend a few relaxing hours in the peaceful ambience it provides. Overall a most memorable stay and would most definitely be back when next in Kyoto.

Beautiful place to stay. The staff were so helpful and friendly! The location, though far out of the city centre, was perfect. We loved walking around the area, and finding quite a few local hidden gems! Highly recommended

Great spot! Comfortable bed, plenty of space for luggage and to move around / get ready in the mornings. Quiet throughout the night. Everyone was so nice! Definitely recommend :)

Very well kept hostel. Clean and new. Staff are pleasant also. Also has a parking area for rental scooters outside which can be very useful. Bus stop within walking distance as well as restaurants. Quiet location.

The accommodation was beautiful, new but modern, clean and intimate/personal. The hosts were incredible!! They made me feel so welcome, when they heard I was vegeterian they wrote down restaurants for me even when I did not ask for it. They offered to make phone reservations for me, they take really good care of their customers and the Ryokan is beautiful. I highly recommend this place!

Staying at Miyazakiya was an absolute delight! One of the standout features for me was the availability of bikes for hire. This made exploring the neighborhood incredibly convenient and added an extra layer of excitement to our stay.
The little zen courtyard stole my heart with its tranquil ambiance.
