Everything. The quiet location, lovely gardens, hot spring baths, the incredible dinner and breakfast, the friendly efficient staff. Our room was lovely, and the futon beds were very comfortable.

The rooms and area of this amazing ryokan tie up with the photos depicted. Great room with our own outdoor private onsen. Make sure to check out their communal onsen (amazing outdoor two-tier onsen with great Japanese garden scenery). The food was great too, two chefs (Kenjo and Keiji) who specialize in French and Japanese cuisine concocted a harmoneous fusion kaiseki dinner every night with fresh local ingredients. Truly a unexpected highlight of our stay was the food (both dinner and breakfast were great) and we would highly recommend booking for the full board stay. The ryokan was also family friendly we travelled with grandparents and a 7 month old baby staying in 2 rooms. It was a great serene and tranquil stay and we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

We love this ryokan so much we didn't want to leave! The room is spacious and beautiful especially with the river view from the outdoor bath terrace. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious! The compound of the ryokan is serene and beautiful surrounded by autumn foliage, we would like to come back again!

Everything was more tan perfect. We had an amazing stay here. Staff was extremely friendly, food was fantastic, breakfast was so relaxing atmosphere. The Onsens were soo relaxing. It was like you just stay in a forest with nothing else around you. Relly recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy a Ryokan Onsen at its best

I was guest of this Ryokan in early December and it was like living in a dream. The town is enchanting, the Ryokan is absolutely splendid and well kept, the breakfast and the dinner were an amazing experience and the personnel was kind and professional (especialy Quynh who was superkind and made my experience even more memorable). My room was wonderful, the onsen very beatiful

The private onsen room is great! Clean and spacious, cozy bed and all. It was lovely how the dogs were welcome too, and they were thought of. The dog run was great! The staff was super friendly. We loved it here!

We like the accommodation, the private onsen facilities, the location, the food, the shuttle service from and to the express bus stops, and of course most importantly the staff of the Ryokan. The Kaiseki dinner was served in our room and the Ryokan had accommodated our dietary request. Special shout out to 陈婷, the staff handling our dinner, bedding arrangement and breakfast.
