Extremely clean and well maintained property. Even though it’s self check in , the owner is in good contact and quick to respond to queries. I was a solo female traveler and felt safe and taken care of. Another plus is that the train station is right below the building, even with heavy rains I could commute easily.

The host couple are very nice and warming, even the area seems small but the facilities are all well. They provide cups, plates, pots... inside the kitchen cabinet.
Microwave, mini fridge are provided. There's a washing machine outside of our room and we can simply wash our dirty clothes!!! The traditional tatami is great too!!!

Udatsuya had the homely vibe that we needed in our trip to Japan. Everyday we return to Udatsuya and immediately feel at ease.
The hostess Niho was amazing, she was like the grandma to the group and kept us well-fed. She prepared us with some information about Osaka, places to visit and wander.
I wake up in the early morning to take a walk around the surrounding neighbourhood, it's great seeing the daily life of Japan go about.
The house itself is near several restaurants and convenience stores, only 2 mins away from a family-mart. The train station is nearby as well that has a track going down to Namba.
Overall, Udatsuya was the perfect stay with great memories. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

It was the best accommodation that my family was satisfied with. The facilities and cleanliness were both good.
It was self-check-in and check-out, but the owner of the house communicated quickly and very friendly. I'm thinking of visiting again next time.

AI Annex is a perfect place for tourists. It's only 2min walk from both the Osaka metro and Nankai railway Tengachaya stations. Even you have heavy luggage with you It's not a pain. Two large supermarkets next to the station and many restaurants around the area.
AI Annex is large and everything is equipped as shown on the photos. We stayed for 12 nights and we felt comfortable as at home and enjoyed every day. I will definitely book it again for my visit in Osaka again. Highly recommended.
