Spacious room, everything was well arranged and organised. Staff was helpful and professional, and provided all necessary information we needed to know about. And the guidebook in the room showed info about how to travel around the area. And there is a laundry room and we could pay to wash and dry (p.s. very reasonable prices). On-site free parking is a plus too!!

Relax hotel is a very pleasant and clean place. Excellent service from the staff who kindly responded to every request even after we checked out. The conversation was especially with Ale and Nakamura who were really charming. Excellent location in front of the station in Takayama. Highly recommended.

Loved everything about this cozy ryokan. The lovely people who run it are so kind. I absolutely loved the Japanese breakfast, and we chose the continental option for our kids.
We had the family room which was surprisingly spacious.
Also the onsen was a real treat which we took advantage of several times a day.
Despite there being a few other guests there it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
Would be lucky to stay here again.

The hotel is new, the location is perfect: in a quiet street but just 30m to the Main Street. The hotel Onsen and lounge were also very well organized. Highly recommended!

The owner was so helpful, friendly and wonderful, advising us on where to go in Takayama and which places to eat at. He also was amaizng in providing a light breakfast and coffee in the morning. The rooms were comfortable and warm, and futon were very comfortable.
