Very central to the hustle and bustle of Colombo, however a great escape from it once you’re done exploring the busy city. Beautiful minimal setting with soul. Restaurant menu was amazing, curated and considered with loads of variety. Not to mention super convenient being right there and always had a great atmosphere.

Granbell Hotel Colombo is an exellent and quite new hotel! Every detail is suberb. Good location, great rooms, nice design! Roomservice great- they even have a pillow menu. I tried the gel pillow and loved it! Good food in the hotel and not very expensive. Exellent AC and room is totally soundproof. Good value for the money! Nice pool area and bar on the roof. Loved this hotel and our room with a bathtub, with an oceanview! We also had a balcony. Warm recommendations to Granbell Hotel Colombo. Can’ t wait to visit this hotel again!

The beds were very comfy, great aircon, really fast wifi. The lounge room is so comfortable to hang out in and sit with other travellers. The hosts, particularly Shantha, are so incredibly kind. They helped me make plans for my entire Sri Lanka trip and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. short walk to the beach.

High quality service, very kind and helpful staff, very responsive and giving good advices. Amazing breakfast buffet with plenty of options also for gluten-free diet and vegan. Quiet comfortable room with amazing ocean view. The best accommodation we had in sri lanka (well, after other lower types of accommodation, that was expected). Bed sheets and mattress very comfortable and iron and all kit you need in the room. The pool was great too.
