The owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy. Such amazing hospitality! The location is a quick walk into the fort for access to great shopping and restaurants, yet not in the hustle and bustle, which suited us perfectly.

It was truly an amazing stay and probably the best accommodation we had during our trip . The scenery is amazing with two pools and a beautiful garden. The facilities exceed any expectation, you can do anything from barbecue to crocodile tours and a very analytical guide is provided to you. The staff is amazing and helped us all the day, providing us with everything needed! The rooms were super clean and had a modern design. We event extended our stay because we just couldn’t leave the hotel. Thank you for the experience ༺♡༻

We spent the best honey moon at Aurora. The hotel upgraded our room for free when they learnt we were coming for a special occasion. The stuff was super friendly and welcoming everyday and no matter what time of the day, this made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. Interiors and exteriors are perfectly designed, very stylish and neat. Rooms were very clean and had everything needed, room service was very good and quick. Breakfasts were very tasty and well cooked, there were no self service, everything was served at your table. The greatest thing was that during the breakfast you could enjoy watching lovely monkeys that were coming to share the breakfast with you. Later we learnt that this type of monkeys are endemic to Sri Lanka, so staying at Aurora makes you lucky to meet them in person. The location of the hotel is awesome - close to the beach, markets and far from road and tourist noise, so during the morning, day, evening and night you are able to enjoy the sound of nature and jungle.

Beautiful, spacious and quiet hotel, all the details in furnishings seem right, you get the impression to be in someone’s actual house back in time. All staff is super friendly and attentive. Just a short walk from Galle centre, but in a very calm environment. Bonus: no plastic bottles, you get as much filtered water as you want.

We had the most wonderful 6 night stay at Green Escape - everything was perfect. The hotel itself is so beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It's a 10min tuktuk drive to Unawatuna so very easy to reach, and such a beautiful location in the middle of nature. The pool is very nice, the food is amazing (we had dinner here 3 nights of our stay and every dish was incredible, best prawns we ever had) and the staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and amazing as possible. Special thanks to Samira and Harsha for always being very helpful, giving great tips and recommendations and taking us around on the tuktuk. A very special place to stay, we would love to come back again someday!

I loooved this property! it’s so unique and the stuff is so friendly and helpful. We stayed for two days and wish we had more days there.. There food is delicious (breakfast&dinner) and is super cheap! If we will ever visit Sri lanka again.. definitely will have a stay there

The best accommodation I have stayed in my trip..Hospitality is very high and value for money.Room is very clean and big.There are two electric fans and no need for ac..Very close to railway and you should know that when you arrive. But it didn't bother me..the owners informed about it...
