I'm a 52 year old experienced traveller and I can honestly say this hostel ranks as the best I've ever stayed in!
The decor is classy, and functional, I would love to have a home this cool!
The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, the owner Andrea who checked me in was so helpful and and welcoming!
The location is perfect, slap bang between the bus station and the main Plaza in the centre of the town so not too far for either!
The breakfast was excellent and plentiful!
The whole ambience of the place makes all the guests so relaxed and in turn makes it so easy to talk and get to know your fellow travellers! I've never got to know so many people in anyother hostel than here!
This ain't a party hostel, I do like a party don't worry about that I'm Scottish, but I didn't feel that I needed to party within or missed it at all such was my enjoyment of my stay here!
HIGHLY IMPRESSED, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! GO! VAMOS!

The property was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, there was a small pool which was perfect to cool off in. The staff were so friendly and their communication was amazing from the moment we booked. They made every effort to make sure we were well informed about what was on and where to go in Merida and were interested in the experiences we had. Their love of Mexico and Merida was very evident. Breakfast was lovely and fresh every morning with 3 options and fruit. Lovely coffee and juice. Said was lovely and friendly every morning, giving us tips for Merida and our future travels. Thank you all!

The property and the room itself were very tranquil - very nice high quality decoration and facilities throughout. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Private parking and a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Merida

I had great stay at this hostel! What really stood out to me is that each room is completely separate, which is pretty rare for a hostel. It’s such a nice touch because you get a bit more privacy while still enjoying the social vibe of a hostel. Definitely a huge plus!
The staff were friendly and fun, the location is amazing. Everything I needed was close by.
The place has a really cool, laid-back style with a mix of artsy and nature-inspired decor.

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Merida, everything was perfect and Batiste, the manager, was brilliant, so helpful and friendly, wish we had booked longer than the 4 nights we stayed, location is great to get into the centre of Merida, we can’t wait to come back to stay!!!

Super professional, kind, reliable and honest hosts. Give great recommendations and care about the guests. Very clean, safe and quiet, stayed 3 nights and slept very well. Good value for money and nice breakfast. Pool seemed nice and clean but we didn't try because we didn't have time.

Everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived with staff greeting us on the doorstep at midnight to opening up early for us at 6am when we eft. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The rooms were spacious, the bed and shower luxurious and the pool clean and cool. The location was perfect and over all it was surprisingly quiet as all the rooms are set back from the busy street. A great 3 night stay.

It was a dream to stay in this hotel! The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. The design of the hotel is exceptional well done! Everything was perfect, The room, the breakfast, the pool and the personalized service! I would not stay anywhere else in Merida if I would go back!
