Everything! It was so beautiful, great value. We loved it was a little out the way of the hotel zone so wasn’t as busy but still had coffee and restaurants nearby. The internet was great I was able to work from there a few days and take numerous calls. We have been moving every few days for the last couple of months and this place felt homely. The hosts were also great and responsive, we loved everything about it can’t recommend enough! Trying to figure out how we can come back to Tulum purely for this apartment!

+ First of all, the staff was great! Rafa (the owner) and Bani were very nice and helpful with everything and gave us a lot of tips of where to eat, where to go and what to do. Beautiful hotel only 2 streets away from the main street in la veleta and a short drive to tulum down town and the beaches. Many options for restaurants and cafés within walking distance. The rooms were very nicely designed and the garden was beautiful! As soon as you stepped in to the enclosure it felt like being in a hotel in the jungle. The bed was probably the most comfortable one we've had during our mexico trip. The shower was nice with good pressure (not very common in mexico) and plenty of hot water. Free parking just outside. - The only minus is that there's isn't really anywhere to sit around the pool to just tan and relax other than by the bar/reception. Other than that, absolutely no complaints!

Wow! What an oasis in the jungle, perfectly decorated and designed till the last detail. We had everything we need for our week stay in Tulum. Perfectly clean rooms, cleaned every day. Fresh water was refilled frequently in the apartment. Since it’s really hot in Tulum, you can find great refreshment in pool and ac equipped rooms. Thank you so much for everything, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful room and facilities, nice location away from the louder touristy part of tulum but still close to plenty of restaurants etc. Free bike rental, and very nice and helpful staff that gave us plenty of tips for tulum and the surrounding area.

It was an incredible stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, cozy and comfortable. We stayed for 3 weeks with our baby and we were so warmly treated every minute of our stay. Everyone ( Flor, Carlos, Carla, la Chiquitita the maintenance crew, the kitchen staff, Paola, even the cats and Pana) went above to make us feel welcomed. We were apprehensive at the beginning thinking it might not be a family friendly hotel but WE WERE WRONG. Truly our best stay in years. The team they've built is fun and warm and always willing to help and give relevant recommendations. We cannot recommend Sonido Del Mar enough <3

The property was beautiful, the surrounding were quiet and chill. We loved the space that we had. The location was good enough, we have a small child so we did most of it by car but you could easily walk to the main street and see plenty of restaurant options. The owner was very helpful and whatsapp contact was easy.
