Bardo is… unique… When arriving at night, at the front desk, we could already feel that the atmosphere was different then other places we’ve been too. At the very first step you make your way to your room, you know that you are on a journey. When passing by the pool with all those trees, plants, lights, and decorations it gets clearer why you came here. You can feel the balance and respect that has been put in between the style of the infrastructures and the nature that is surrounding it, making it a place of harmony. Once we’ve arrived at the end of the path to our room, we could only be amazed by the simplicity, authenticity and taste of decoration. We were about to live in connection with Mother Nature. The transformation starts here. Not only the hotel made us feel reconnected to nature but the themazcal made us reconnect to our true selves and we felt more alive. It’s an incredible experience that I recommend to anyone who meditates and is looking for a higher self awareness and spiritual connection. Also the staff made us feel welcomed and took great care of us at anytime and any moment! Special thanks to Jay, Fernando and Shio at the front desk, who were really helpful and devoted when ever we needed help; to Alejandro, Martin, Manual, and Martin for there smiles, positive vibes and sympathique but professional way of being; to Gloria and the massage team who are very professional and caring; to Diego and Claudia, for they’re open hearts, minds, spirits and amazing work; to the cooking staff for there delicious dishes; to the security staff, who made us feel safe; and finally to the cleaning and gardening staff that makes this places magnificent, cared, respected and always tidy. And, of course, a big thanks to all the other staffs part of Bardo that we didn’t mention and made this place possible. Thanks to you, Bardo, we found a place of harmony, beauty, spirituality and wellbeing.

Everything is perfect, and much better than the photos (if I may). We had an amazing time, warm welcome and amazing guidance on how to best enjoy Tulum. The room is great, very comfortable. 1000% highly recommended!

I absolutely loved my stay at Una Vida, the ladies at the concierge were super helpful. From arranging airport transfers through to smooth check in & ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. Nice location close to the city centre. Clean and spacious, perfect for our stay.We could rent bicycles and to explore Tulum and the beaches. The staff was extremely helpful and after we asked the manager gave us personalised list with recommendations for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks , including comments on what from the menu is nice. I don't think our stay in Tulum wiuld have been so good without that list. We loved the Ceviche at El capitan, the beach and the sunbeds at Posada Margherita (guests can hangout there for free), vibe & live Musik at Batey and also very nice for breakfast and dinner was La Hoja Verde. 100% recommendation.

The owner is french - like us, it was really nice talking with him. He gave us a map our the recommended restaurants and cenotes nearby. They had some cats, lovely dogs, and even an opossum ? The swimming pool was really nice, we took a lot of bathes in it and were always alone. And the breakfast was also really good.

Everything was great. The staff were so kind, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. The pool was a great addition. Breakfast was delicious Jimmy, the owner was so kind to explain everything and kind enough to bring us to enjoy the night at the bar with live music. It was great to be the first Indonesian who stayed at his hotel. Definitely great two nights with worth value of money spent. Will come back again hopefully one day!
