The hosts Miguel and Martin are good people. They were accommodating and very helpful. I am not fluent in Portuguese, which is the country’s language, but they supported me with most of my needs like getting a taxi, suggesting tourist attractions and ordering food etc. I really enjoyed my stay and I look forward to coming again.

The king room was surprisingly larger than any room I’ve ever stayed in! The beds are super comfort and the room delightful to stay in after a long day. Staff are extremely friendly and speak enough English to make communication so much easier. Really loved the stay. The breakfast is continental and yummy.

The staff at the hotel are so kind and attentive, truly a wonderful experience! I had to change my travel dates multiple times and the staff was incredibly accommodating, as well as helping with taxis and luggage storage. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms were very spacious and clean. I would stay at Hotel Cardoso again in a heartbeat!

We stayed three nights and fell in love with this place. the rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. The massive bathroom with a view was an excellent bonus. The location worked perfectly for us, as we had our own transport and we are familiar with Maputo. talking distance from a few restaurants. the rest are withing a longer walk or very short drive. Close to shopping malls, the typical tourist things in Maputo and a walk across the road take you to the beach (more like just a viewing space. The view is amazing. highly recommended.
