Location is perfect: easy to get to any kind of attraction though street itself is quiet. Walking distance from Metro, just 20 min by bus to/from the airport. Smooth check-in/out. Helpful receptionists. Good breakfast. There's a lift for those who may struggle with steep stairways of old Amsterdam.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and loved everything about the hotel. The interior is stunning, the rooms are very well-appointed and spacious, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There are numerous seating areas throughout and we especially enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace near the bar and watching the sunset from the outdoor deck. The location is terrific, just a short walk from the Museum Quarter and the vibrant neighborhood of De Pijp. The king sized bed was very comfortable and a nice bonus was having extra seating including a reading chair, and a dining/workspace table with two chairs. Our room had ample storage space, a mini-fridge, safe, hairdryer, and coffee machine. As a nice surprise, we were upgraded to a canal view room at check-in. Special thanks to Lydia at reception for her excellent service during our stay! This was our first time staying at this hotel and we will book here again for future trips to Amsterdam.
