The location is very convenient for walking around and visiting places. The building is a block away from the busy streets, so it's completely free of noise and dusts from the streets. The staff are very friendly. The building and rooms are very charming in traditional styles, and the bathroom has very modern and convenient settings. The breakfast is great with many choices. The "curd" (yogurt) is the local traditional style and is very tasty.

Charming little hotel right beside Durban Swuare Patan, the best Thali dish in the restaurant I had in all my travelling in Nepal. Loved it. Also good for solo travellers as other people are solo and chatty! Not in your face but just v friendly! The owner is chair of the Katmandu Preservation Trust and passionate about restoring old buildings

This hotel was lovely! Room verry confortable, with all you need. Bottled water supply daily in your room, toiletries also. Breakfast was good, staff excellent (special thanks to Puskar and Liza) but all were very nice, kind and helpful. Puskar also help us to arrange a city tour for 2 days which was perfect!
Definitely recommend this hotel!

Dinesh and his wife and young daughter are great host!
Dinesh is a very affable host, but also very cognisant to respect guests preferences to enjoy the homestay in private as needed.
Depending on your travel preferences (interaction or not) Dinesh is very accommodating.
Dinesh makes you feel welcomed from day one, and no request is too big or small.
He is happy to take you around town, and really makes you feel like family.
This enhances the homestay experience and gives a small insight into life in a Newari household.
