I spent three wonderfully warm and pleasant nights here. Shailendra and his wife were gentle and kind, treating me like a dear elder and a long-lost friend.
I cherished the breakfast time every morning. They welcomed me like family. Sitting by the balcony, savoring the delicious breakfast they prepared, watching the view, listening to the birds sing, and sharing unhurried conversations—this was exactly the meaning of my trip.
Walking out from the hotel, there are many cafés nearby. A little further, you’ll find bookstores, supermarkets, and the beautiful traditional architecture of Patan. Compared to other areas of Kathmandu, Patan feels more peaceful and perfect for leisurely strolls. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe here.
This place has left me with beautiful memories of Kathmandu. May we all enjoy life to the fullest in our own corners of the world.
