We stayed five nights at Tajaa Pha in Patan and this was a highlight of our trip to Nepal. The hotel is situated right in Patan and makes for a great location to start day trips to around the area - we didn't have any troubles finding taxis right outside the gates of Patan / Lalitpur.
We stayed in a larger room, which was great to spread out all of our hiking gear and organize. Our room was streetside, so we heard the street sounds - bring earplugs if you're sensitive to sounds while sleeping.
Shailendra was fantastic and helped us out a lot. Our flight was canceled, so he helped us modify our original booking.
Breakfast was also great here - everything was freshly prepared and I was always looking forward to the changes over the days.
