The staff - friendly and helpful. The view from our room of the Auckland waterfront was jaw-dropping. The sommelier in the bar was really helpful in making sure we got a wine that was exactly to our tastes. We were happy to find it was a short stroll to the Australian Maritime museum.

King room was stunning with sitting/dining area, huge secluded balcony.Responsive, friendly staff.
Sauna and hot tub area lovely.
I had 2 massages at the spa, both excellent.

Perfect location, right in the heart of the Viaduct. Within walking distance of a full range of bars and restaurants. Even with the location, it was so quiet you could have been in the middle of the suburbs. The beds were comfortable and the robes had a luxury feel. The bath was huge and a real treat. An eclectic range of vinyl records were available to listen to.
