Fantastic spacious granny flat. Parking space is down a very steep driveway. Google shows walk to beach via street is 15 minutes (big hills) but there is a track from the bottom of the driveway straight to the beach. Full kitchen with full sized fridge/freezer dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven, gas hotplates. All very new and beautifully presented. Bathroom is lovely. Heated towel rail. Very comfortable and peaceful. Washing machine and powder provided.

It had been a long time since a place on Booking surprised me this much. I stayed with my couple for 19 days in Flatbush Center point. The hosts are truly wonderful, kind, helpful, and always ready to offer the best tips for exploring the Auckland area. They have a lot of valuable local knowledge. There are also two adorable cats that make the place even more cozy. The location is perfect for discovering the surroundings of Auckland, for example, Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple, Howick Historical Village or the Auckland Botanic Gardens. However, keep in mind that the city centre is over an hour away by public transport, so if your main goal is to visit central Auckland, this might not be the most convenient option. The breakfast was excellent and flexible, and the facilities were great. The room was very well equipped and everything was cared for in detail. They’re doing an excellent job. I saw some breathtaking sunsets from the garden terrace, and I truly felt at home from the beginning to the end of my stay. Thank you for everything S & R.
