The rooms were incredibly spacious, aswell as the bathrooms! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. There were only 3 of us and it was VERY affordable for what the place is! Such a nice cozy place. Close to the venue which our trip was for. Absolutely would stay again, and will be booking for any further trips to Christchurch.

I quite enjoyed the pleasantries, very kind and welcoming staff. Freshly renovated room with everything I needed for my stay. Price is great for what you receive. Very comfortable and full self contained the unit I stayed in was. Very happy.

Hardly find hotels where u can cook your own food inside. Golden hotel has mini kitchen with cooking utensils available for you to cook food inside room. Very neat and tidy. Easy check in and check out process. Always prefer to stay here whenever I visited christchurch. Near to airport as well.
