Ineke and John were very friendly hosts and very helpful in sorting out our plans for a trip into Abel Tasman. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed being able to sit out in the garden. Breakfast was excellent and there was a very good restaurant in walking distance from the accomodation.

Great location for all local restaurants and supermarket. Also a great location to explore up into the Abel Tasman National Park area as the road starts from Richmond. The room suite that we had was on the ground floor. A good sized double, a good sized bathroom shower room and the shower was good. Good hot water supply. Cooking facilities were good with a double electric hop and adequate utensils. Over all a good base and comfortable. The staff upon arrival and departure were brilliant and very pleased we stayed there. I would recommend.

Easy to find. Doable distance from the Picton car ferry and Abel Tasman.. Excellent facilities. Pleasant friendly staff who gave good recommendations for an evening meal and helped us to use the laundry. Off street parking right outside the apartment. Good place to visit the Nelson attractions, particularly the car museum with its cafe and excellent gift shop. Highly recommended.

The Wheelhouse Inn features five self-contained houses and apartments with spectacular sea views, from Nelson's Port Hills to the lovely Tasman Bay.

Very quiet location outside city center near the beach. Lots of restaurants around, very walkable and safe. Staff very friendly, always happy to help.
