Very nice place! Rooms are comfy and clean. There is a kitchenette available for all rooms on one floor, well equipped. The location is fantastic, just around the corner from the Old Market Square. There is a restaurant right below. Overall a very good experience.

The hotel is ideally situated a very short walking distance to the town centre with all its restaurants , museums and other places to visit. It’s also near bus and tram stops . The main train station is only a couple of bus stops away . I found the hotel to be very quiet. My room had a beautiful view of the river which I could enjoy from my balcony. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean and it was very useful to have a fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable. More importantly given the time of the year the room was kept nicely warm at all times . Breakfast was available until quite late and was very copious. For the purpose of my visit I often had to go in and out of the hotel and I appreciated not having to go through reception but be able to use the other exit door. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again at hotel Czarna Roza.

Simply put, the best experience possible. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, and had countless delicious options. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the heart of old town.

The boutique four-star Hotel 1231 is located in the Old Town right next to the Ruins of the Teutonic Castle, a major Torun attraction.

Perfect location, great communication with landlord, clean and comfortable apartment, easy access to the building. You are staying in the heart of town in the quiet area. We stayed in the winter and was so pleased with heating on when we walked in, many thanks for warm welcome.
