Staffs are very friendly and helpful! Their response to my questions before and during my stay were always quick and helpful. Martin and two ladies at the front desk provided me many good sightseeing suggestions. On my husband"s birthday a fresh chocolate cake was delivered to the room.
Breakfast buffet is really good.
The day after Christmas we had the delicious buffet dinner with lamb chop and duck entrees.
I wish we could have stayed longer to view the new year Eve famous fireworks.

We have stayed in more than 60 accommodations and this is one of the best. It has an excellent location - bus to the airport and the city center, parking space, quick access to the highway. The accommodation is super clean. It is spacious, three people did not feel cramped. The accommodation has everything you need - bath towels for the pool, washing machine, cleaning products... The furniture is modern. There is a view of the sea from the balcony.
Communication with the owner is excellent.

We loved the hotel and found the staff extremely helpful,friendly and professional-especially on reception,in the Il Gallo d’Oro restaurant at breakfast and our waiter in the Avista restaurant at dinner. Very high quality of food and drinks.The pools,spa and gardens are all excellent. Our upper floor sea-facing room was lovely,although another time we would choose a Funchal Bay view which would be stunning or stay at the Suites section of the hotel so as to access their infinity pool area.

The location is just stunning. The Maisonette Suites have everything you look for. Shower & toilet on both floors, 2 nice terraces. The infinity pool has always lots of free sunbeds & is so beautiful. The staff is very helpful and natural. They have fun working and it leads to great interactions. The Avista Restaurant is just spectacular. The food (breakfasts & dinners) mindblowing. The views on the Atlantic above the cliff - no words. We will be back! 100%. Thank you for a great week.

This property is an absolute gem. It’s super cozy, spacious and has everything you would need. It’s clean and has space for 1 car to park. There is space to park on the street if you’d need for a second car.

Pool area, friendly staff, breakfast. In general, good facilities. Have never tried a pool area anything like it. Great for both kids and adults. Nice view to the sea. Great rooms with big beds and different pillows. On site restaurants if you like, also a nice pool bar that serves lighter meals and drinks. Breakfast buffet has everything, including fresh orange juice and espumante.
