Very cozy place, with a homely atmosphere. Close to everything, but away from the tourist hustle and bustle, a great starting point for sightseeing in Lisbon. Close to very good restaurants and bars with local food. In the hotel itself there is a very nice garden, where you can relax after the heat of the day, and drink good wine or beer (interesting approach to billing for drinks). Additionally, every day a variety of sweets, delicious... Very communicative and nice service, helping in every matter.

The staff was so sweet and chatty and indulged us as we attempted to speak Portuguese. The room service and breakfast was great and the beds were soft. It's basically the Four Seasons without the snooty attitudes and inflated prices.

My favorite hotel in my favorite neighbourhood in Lisbon! Almost feels like coming home being made ever so welcome by Aye taking care of everything. This time I stayed in a spacious, comfortable room at the back (Amber?) overlooking the garden terrace. As usual it was spotlessly clean. I enjoyed the beautiful roof terrace with best views over the city and with a drink from the honesty bar. Thanks again for the personal touch, talks & for the nice piece of apple pie in the room on arrival. Hope to be back soon.
