Rubinen is a very nice hotel In possibly the best location. The room we had was basic but very clean with nice decor. All the staff were extremely helpful, polite and very friendly. We never ate at the hotel in the evening however the breakfast was excellent, good choices and very tasty.

third time at the hotel (which is slowly becoming a home from home!) all boxes ticked from superb breakfast to friendly and helpful staff who just seem actually happy to be there and accommodate any questions you would have. Rooms are just so highly decorated and unique due to decor and comfort. If you have children under 15 (or young spirited adults) this is the only hotel that you should stay at while visiting Göteborg.

Historical place! I liked the interior, it had old, but renovaited staircases, elevator. The vibe is cool! The location is next to the Central Station which for me was very good. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
