FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

it has gotten so expensive for tourists and almost all attractions are Man Made. Better spend money on neighboring asian countries or Europe. The only good thing about the place is the convenience and safety.

Had a 7 night stay in Singapore and prior to the trip undertook extensive research on what to do. Highlights included Gardens by the Bay, Jewel Shopping Centre, Little India and the Arab district. Getting around on the MRT train network was simple, comfortable and very efficient. Don't purchase a Tourist Pass for the MRT, just an Ezlink card. It is unlikely you would use up the value on the Tourist Pass. Only time we used a taxi was from and to the airport. The Hawker Centres are excellent value for a great meal but be warned restaurants in tourist areas are expensive as is alcohol.

Clean city. Caring culture. Friendly people.

Clean city. Caring culture. Friendly people. Great choice of places to eat across most budgets. Loads of big city shops, and prices - from ultra modern malls to ancient ethnic areas and markets. Fantastic underground railway system. Lots to see. Worthwhile staying more than just a one night stopover.

QT Singapore is the perfect spot for a stay. It has the charm of a boutique hotel, the quality of a private members' club but the excellence of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are so well thought out from the interior to all the items stocked within the room. A cocktail shaker is on another level of personalisation. I've stayed in so many hotels in Singapore and only the best impress me i.e. Raffles, Capella, Swiss etc and this is definitely the new hotel to add that that list.

Amazing stay- close to metro station but far enough from city centre to be peaceful & cheaper than other hotels in Singapore. Super comfortable bed. Very clean. Lovely staff. Great offers with connecting Italian restaurant for breakfast & dinner & other eateries nearby. 7/11 down the road. Pool was well maintained. Rooms had good sound proofing.

The hotel feels brand new, good water pressure and showers and rooms that feel well thought out. Rooms sizes like all hotels in singapore were on the medium/smaller side, bed and sheets felt fresh and very comfortable Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming and efficient- Jai Yin in particular

The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to exit B at Bencoolen MRT station on the blue Downtown line. The room was a good size and quiet. We did not have breakfast but the hotel was good value considering the cost of hotels in Singapore.
