It is a lovely green and local house with various rooms.
The owner Jimmy was so welcoming, genuine and kind from the very first moment.
He welcomed us introducing himself, his place and the city.
He gave us a map and and suggested some of the better attractions to visit.
His wife was so kind and smiley to.
It’s a local place where you can really feel the beautiful local vibes.
Ps I loved their cat too

Paapu House is the sixth and by far the most affordable place I have stayed in on this trip to Thailand. And I have to say it is my favorite place of them all. What a friendly, hospitable and hardworking woman Paapu is. The place is like a mix of a hotel and a hostel: seven simple rooms, excellent shared bathrooms, clean and have some exquisite aesthetic details. The cafe has a very good atmosphere, both in the morning and the evenings, and the food is delicious too. They even have live music every Thursday.

The Hotel ist in an optimal spot close to the City Center but still in a quiet Backstreet. The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke good english. The rooms and service were perfect. There are nice Restaurants close by. We will come again in the Future !

The interior design is so tasteful! Using lots of colors isn't difficult, but striking a balance is, and Paapu nailed it!
The room is not big, but it is fully functional. You can feel her care and it is very quiet.

The location of the accommodation was not far from the old town, and it was quieter and better because it was a little further away. The Night Bazaar was close by, and it was nice that there were two large permanent markets about 5 minutes away from the accommodation. The accommodation was clean and the owner was friendly. Free services such as water, fruit, and bread were also good. There are also good restaurants near the accommodation. It is a great place to stay with family or friends. I would like to stay again when I travel to Chiang Mai next time.

Our host was very kind to us, always provided bottled water, greeted us with fruits, bread and jam. It was during the Loy Krathong festival so she helped us with info about the surroundings. Right beside the Ping River so the location was great for the festival. She was so kind and gentle with our kids, i felt like she took care of them as if her own. I would come back anytime!!
