The breakfast is amazing, consisting of fruit, mango sticky rice, Pad Thai / fried rice, bread and coffee (honestly they had one of the best fried rice I tried in Thailand so far!).
The owner and all of the staff are super super nice. We arrived quite early in the morning, a bit before 8am, and stopped by to drop the bags - they offered us breakfast, which was amazing!
The room and the entire property are very clean.
The location is good, inside the old town.
The value for money is exceptional here. Highly recommend Ma Guesthouse in you are coming to Chiang Mai!

Pool was lovely, the owner and staff are so extremely friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was lovely, very tranquil setting.
The staff speak English very well so easy to understand. Will definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Chaing Mai.

This property is such amazing value for money. The staff are wonderful, the owner is so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We even asked if we could stay longer but they were fully booked! Breakfast is great and they serve coffee in big mugs which is needed in the mornings! Perfect location to some lovely cosy bars, not too busy. Will definitely be back!

+ a bit more pricey but worth it in our opinion
This hotel has an ancient look to it but the bathroom was modern and everything worked well which we really liked. The staff was very helpful and kind with our requests.
If we go back to Chiang Mai, we would book this hotel again.
