Location was excellent, if there Sunday night, a wonderful Night Market is right outside the hotel. Breakfast was great, property was wonderful, and the staff were some of the best I have ever experienced.

Such an astounding hostel! It's perfectly located in the old town, but very quiet at night. The hostel is immaculately clean and very comfortable. Beds are amazing (I stayed for three weeks, so my back knows what I'm talking about!) and there's a lovely complimentary breakfast served every morning.
There's also soap and shampoo in the showers, towels are included, and the wifi is very fast.
Paul and Koki, the owners, go above and beyond to help, suggest, and organize anything the guests might need - even if it's not hostel-related! They're so attentive and friendly that the stay was a 10/10 just because of them.
I can't recommend Pakping Hostel enough, and I would book here again in a heartbeat. ♥

This is my kind of hostel!! As soon as you enter the building, you will find yourself in a beautiful garden that merges with the bar and reception; it's a lovely place to get some rest, chat with other people or drink. The rooms are very large and comfortable; I stayed in 2 different rooms because I decided to stay one more night!
It is very well located; you are inside the Old Town, but also very close to the Night Market and other attractions.
Gilles is that stereotype of an enthusiastic and helpful host; he put me in touch with other guests and gave us a lot of good advice on which not-so-touristic islands we should visit in the South, he knows it all!
I also booked a cooking class there, I highly recommend.
