Very relaxed and friendly vibe. Private beach is nice and clean. The food at the Restaurant is awesome and the beach bar and Bim, the barkeeper, are excellent.

Great new resort on the beach, we loved our stay here and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful.

Basic hotel with great price-quality ratio, very clean and great hospitality. Perfect location, located just off the main road but still quiet. The owners/staff were lovely and made us feel right at home!

I booked 20 nights at this hostel and spent all but one night there (when I visited Koh Tao). From the moment I arrived, I felt reassured about my choice. On my first day, I met two girls in my room who had been staying here and at Colorful Hut for seven weeks on and off—they loved it so much they didn’t want to leave. Their enthusiasm convinced me I’d picked the right place, especially since they could have chosen cheaper accommodations elsewhere on the island. Room: I opted for a women’s dorm with a private bathroom. The room accommodated eight people but felt spacious and even included access to a balcony. There was also a cozy “living room” area where guests could relax and chat. Each bed had curtains for privacy, which was a great touch. Cleanliness: The hostel was clean and well-maintained. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient, tidying up regularly. Some of the cleaners even spoke a bit of English, which was a nice bonus. Staff and Atmosphere: Everyone at the hostel was incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke English, which made communication and getting assistance very easy. The welcoming atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. Facilities: The hostel also features a lovely café where you can relax. Wi-Fi is available on every floor with strong, reliable coverage. Breakfast: If breakfast isn’t included in your booking, I highly recommend purchasing it. The menu offers great options and is available from 8 AM to 5 PM, including a drink like coffee. Location: The hostel’s location is very convenient—just a short walk from the marina, with the beach right around the corner. There’s a food court across the street and a newly completed supermarket nearby. Renting a scooter is a good idea to explore further. Activities: The hostel organizes a range of activities such as yoga, meditation, group dinners, and excursions, so there’s always something fun to do. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations.

We had a room with a large balcony and it was great. It was a large and cosy room with a big and comfortable bed and good sitting space. The bathroom and shower were great with good pressure and hot water. The employees at the frontdesk are really nice and helped us with everything. Also the people at the bar and restaurant are very friendly. We had a great time and I would recommend the place. Would love to come back when I'm around.

Great hostel! The stuff makes it great 😊 Lovely receptionist who is very easygoing and always ready for a small talk, to give you some pieces of advice where to go and always checks on how it's going for you. Guys at the bar are super nice. They are always ready to mix a cocktail, play pool or table games with you, and do a bit of talk. It's not a party hostel, but still there is a bar with coffee/cocktails, music (not very loud), pool, table games, console. Also there is a place where you can work with your laptop. The female dorm is clean, quite big, with a private bathroom and most comfortable stairs to the bed on the 2nd floor! Mattresses are good as well.

Good place, very nice people as usual, helpful with everything, As somebody else mentioned, excellent mattresses. Nice beach, some chairs and a bar, everything clean. Just remember its Pha- Ngan (Thai: Sandbank), for swimming or related stuff you have to go really far into the water. You can do that in the nice pool. The sun can be brutal, be prepared. Also you if you don't like extended walks you need a scooter to go to the main road, 7/11, dining and nightlife etc.
