Don't sleep on this place, it is absolutely magical. The women who we interacted with (who ran the place?) were very kind and relaxed. The taxi from the ferry dropped us off at the wrong place (Bang Magkok) and the women at Baan Bua came and got us! We also accidentally locked our key in the safe, and again they rescued us. The food they serve is AMAZING. The atmosphere is AMAZING. They had all the small touches like towels, a cover up and a beach blanket in a wicker bag for us to use (free). Air conditioner works amazing. Bed is so comfy. Room is large. Extremely clean. We stayed at another hotel after this, and despite that hotel being directly on a gorgeous beach... we STILL loved Baan Bua more! Just make sure you can ride a motorbike because you will need them to get around (they're automatic transmission and 250 thb rental from them a day). We rented 2 and it didn't take us long to travel to the various beaches. I have traveled a lot around the world, and this hotel is in my top 10 for sure. THANK YOU BAAN BUA!

Everything here was PERFECT! We only wished we could have stayed longer. Originally we'd planned to rent a motorcycle but upon arriving at the resort we decided just to stay here and enjoy all the amenities instead. 5/5

Such a nice place! Attention to every tiny detail! First of all very well located, many restaurants around, beach at 3 min with scooter. The room is spacious, with a private place in front. On the balcony there is a fan! On the top of that you can borrow for free a beach towel, snorkel or flippers. The breakfast was very good as well.

It's out of the way, but 5 minutes from one of the beach... in a forest, where you can have a nice birdy awakening... Ama, the manager or owner...(I didn't asked) is so sweet, you will melt... and if you compare to all the another places I stayed on this island, you will understand what I mean.. I absolutely love camping, but a glamping site with daily room cleaning, fluffy white towels, hot water, and beautiful design - that’s something special!
